Painting is kind of like sex, there are no right or wrong ways to do it. You find out what works best and is most enjoyable for you and your partner (canvas, paper, brushes, etc.) by practicing. Don’t think about it too much or it stops being fun. Practice. Get messy. Do it again. Experiment. Don’t take it too seriously and don’t let other people tell how you should do it or that you’re doing it the wrong way. Most of all, enjoy it.
Throw me some suggestions people! If you answer with “me” (as in yourself) send me a photo to work from.
Thank you! I suppose there is a bit of spontaneity and speed in the more (IMO,) successful works. They’re usually the ones that I don’t plan out that work the best, and they are often accomplished in one sitting. Music helps too.
Lol, wat? Why baby noises?
Thanks! I do what I can. This is all really just an exercise in aesthetic hedonism, I’m just making the things I want to look at.
Thank you! I’ll try to keep up the awesomeness.
It was going to be heading to a gallery next month for display/sale, but if you’re interested we could probably work something out.
